Odie's visit to the catacombs

Odie glided slowly into the curch, following Mitchel. "Jeez, it's already creepy in here." Odie said. Odie found a little hole, just big enough to fit him, behind the huge altar looking thing in the back of the church. Odie figured this must be the passageway down to the catacombs. Odie climbed down the 5 stairs, then they suddenly stopped and Odie alarmingly fell down the rest of the way. Next thing he knew, he was I a dimly lit room. with a few black orbs floating around. Odie got really scared, so he screamed. He hoped Mitchel didn't hear it. Odie kept walking on, and suddenly, but not surprisingly, a black orb came racing up to his face. Odie froze in terror. The orb slowly slowed down, and took a few circles around Odie. Odie wondered if the orbs could talk. "Uhh hi, my name is Odie Hoff." Odie said stupidly." no reply. Then, surprisingly, the orb floated off. Odie kept walking and heard a huge CRUUNNCHH! Odie looked down, and saw a huge rib cage below his foot. Odie screamed in terror again. Suddenly, a humongous black buzzing mess approached Odie at such a speed that he didn't see it before it was right in front of his face. Odie realizedd that it was a bunch of black orbs, probably all of them that were in the catacombs. They all took the same motions as the first one did, and slowly glided in circles around Odie. Odie then realized that the orbs LIKED him! And therefore, Odie liked the catacombs. Odie didn't want to leave, he loved the little black orbs! Odie wondered what the angelic spirits would think of that. Then his mind wandered over to Mitchel, who was hopefully still in the church, and wandered if he thought that Odie was dead or something.

Mitchel was sitting on the pew. He twitched everytime Odie screamed. He stood up and looked down in the hole when the screaming stopped. Wow, really? That fast? Usually they don't even care about you for a while! Mitchel started nervously moving his fingers around. Then he thought of somthing. Oh no! He dosn't even know that they can kill him! Mitchel yelled down into the hole. "Odie! If you're alive, listen to this. Demonic spirits are not your friends, they are enimies!" A black ord flew out of the hole at Mitchel, but once it noticed who he had just tried to attack, it backed away.

((Odie... Remember, they might trust you after a while, but they dont "like" anybody. Noboby. Zilch. Nada.))

All at once, the black orbs closed in on him, and started to take the form of human beings. Odie thought that they were really awesome! Now they were coming over to hang out with him! Odie got scared after he realized that they looked really mad, and tried to start running, but they were too close to him. He felt a deep peircing pain on his forehead. Odie let out a peircing, bloodcurling, heartbeating, deathly scream. It was so loud that it popped his left eardrum. Odie then finnaly realized that he was suddenly in the church. The last thing Odie realized was that the peircing pain on his forehead was a scratch, or bite, whatever it was... the spirits did it.

Mitchel lurched toward the hole when he heared a blood-curdling scream. He looked down the hole and saw dozens of demons, in full form, gathering around Odie. Odie's hand shot up in the air and Mitchel rushed to grab it. He pulled as hard as he could, and finally got Odie out of the hole. Mitchel layed Odie on the ground and saw a black mark on His forehead. It was just a little smaller than Mitchels, Odie's skull had slowed the biting prosess, but it was pure, jet, black. Mitchel heaved a huge sigh of relief. If he hadn't gotten Odie out of there, the spirits bite juice stuff would slowly be creeping into Odies brain, and he would be slowly and painfully dieing right now, either that, or become a Demonic Spirit. Mitchel didn't want to find out.

Odie let out a deep, low moan, or maybe a grunt. He didn't have enough energy to moan. Odie attempted to sit up, but then he started to fly back to the floor. His head hit the hard wood of the church floor with a big thud. Odie's head got really warm, as if something, like blood, were seeping around his head. Once again, everything went black.

Mitchel squeezed his eyes shut at the sight of blood. He lifted himself up and rushed to the back room to get some fabric. He went over and wrapped it around Odie's head, then perched Odie's head on his knee. Suddenly he felt really guilty, for taking the cloth from God's house. He folded his hands together and muttered a short prayer. "Umm, hey God. Sorry about the whole taking your cloth thing, so can you please forgive me? Oh, and help Odie to stay alive and not burst his head open again, and please give him the wil to stay here, where there's actually people that know what he's going through, and... umm... yeah. Amen" Mitchel knew it was'nt the perfect prayer, but he hoped it worked.

Odie slowly opened his eyes. Ohh, I am in my bed,aren't I? Odie thought with a smile. But then he realized that the pillow-like fabric under his head was not a pillow. Odie tried to sit up, and this time succeeded, even though his head was throbbing with pain, so bad, one hundred times worse then a migrane. Odie lie back down, hoping that would ease the pain. He then realized that Mitchel was by him "Oh, what's up, Mitchel?" Odie asked, trying to start a normal conversation to block out the crazyness of this day. Odie was very surprised that he could talk without any effort at all.
