Lost in the outskirts of London, England. Children of all ages, get lost, and are scavenging for food. A bright path appears to those who need it most.

Mitchel looked at Odie, surprized that he didn't love this place as much as himself. "It's not that bad, if you want to see somthing scary go to the catacombs!" Mitchel had been in them before and it was kind of creepy. "But yes, this is where we sleep. Unless you want to sleep in a house, I'll show you mine tomorow if you want me to." Mitchel turned around and looked back at the big wooden doors. He stuck out his hand and slowley pushed the door open.

Odie immieadialty calmed when he saw the inside. It looked welcoming enough. "So, birds are allowed in here, right?" Odie finnaly said aloud. "RIGHT?!?" Flyer screamed as if it were planned. Odie looked out of the small window next to the door. "And.. the clouds are darker than usual... aren't they?""AREN'T THEY??" Flyer screamed once again.

Mitchel stared at flyer, amazed at his wide range of vocabulary. Thy bird tilted his head it Mitchel, like he wasn't fully trustworthy. Mitchel looked back to Odie, "Yeah, it looks like its gonna rain. I'll try to find a room without any leaks." Mitchel started limping up a rickety old stairway. The steps creaked every time he took a step.

Odie always got kinda scared when it meant miserable weather, because early in his years of childhood his house got demolished by a tornado, that came out of nowhere. Odie always seeked comfort in his inner self, but this place made it hard to do that. "Ummm... so, is this hotel or your house safer? Just asking." Odie felt stupid as he said it. "JUST ASKING!" screeched Flyer.

Mitchel thought about it. He stopped, and turned around. "Probably the house, but you should sleep in the hotel your first night, you can come to my place tomorow." Mitchel turned back around and kept walking untill he found a suitable room. He checked to make sure Odie was coming, then charged in and flomped himself on the bed. The impact hurt his head a little, but he'd had much worse. He bounced back up and landed on his feet.

After Odie took a few steps, he decided that he should definetly sleep in the house. He turned arould without informing Mitchel, then walked down the steps and straight out the door. He followed the path that he had seen Jayden take, and then wondered why he hadn't told Mitchel that he wanted to sleep in the house. His brain had probably told him not to, because Mitchel would probably think he was a scaredy cat. It was just a lot easier this way. Odie saw the houses come into view. He must have gone the right way. It was a few more seconds until Odie realized that he was running. He slowed to a jog, then decided that he should just walk into a house. That is what he did.

Mitchel looked up and saw that odie wasn't there anymore. He started to get worried. He hurredly got up and saw some muddy footprints leading out of the hotel. "Oh shoot!" Mitchel mumbled. He limped down the stairs as fast as he could, but tripped in the middle. He flew down the stairs and a piece of wood sticking out of the ground at the bottom pierced his right wrist. Pain shot up his arm, but he got up, and stuffed his bloody hand into his coat pocket. He went out of the hotel and saw more footprints. Thoughts zoomed through his mind, why did he say the house was safer! His house was definatley not, it was one of the haunted ones! Mitchel kept following the muddy shoe marks untill they led him straight to the edge of the forest, then turned into a house. Not lust any house though... his house.
